Alfonso Pansza, Jr.

Alfonso Pansza, Jr., 82 of Gower, MO passed away November 16, 2013 in Gower, MO.

 

Alfonso was born April 28, 1931 in San Antonio, TX., to Alfonso & Vickie Pansza. He served his country honorably in the US Army during Korea earning his Marksman badge as a left handed person with a right handed rifle a feat accomplished by very few. He was a boxer with a 72-0 record and enjoyed baseball, football, fishing, spending time with family, watching his grandchildren play sports and family gatherings. He was a generous, loyal friend and patriarch of the family who had a wonderful sense of humor; persistent and tenacious in his fight to be independent and remain healthy; a protective, respectful and charismatic man who loved charming women and was always impeccably dressed. He was Co-Founder of the Patrician Movement, an addiction counseling method used by Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Syeliss Pansza.

 

Survivors include his 104 yr old mother, Vickie Pansza; sons, John Paul, Jason Thomas, Alfonzo James III & Joshua Bernard Pansza; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Nena, Rosie & Margaret; numerous extended family and friends. 

 

Memorial services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 20 at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, with a visitation at 6:00 pm and Military Honors at 6:45 pm.

Inurnment:  Allen Cemetery.
