ADRIAN L. WILLIAMS

Adrian Lee Williams, 71, of Gower, Mo., passed away, Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron.

He was born on September 24, 1933 to Guy Park and Georgia Evelyn (Newkirk) Williams in North Kansas City, Mo. He grew up in rural Gower , attended Grayson Grade School and graduated from Gower High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he returned to Gower where he made his home.

Adrian worked for TWA in Kansas City for ten years and in 1995 retired from Stetson Hats in St. Joseph.

He was a member of the Grayson Community Church.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roy J. Bowers.

He is survived by brothers, Larry Williams and wife, Mary, Stewartsville, Mo., Ned Williams, Gower, Mo. and Warren Bowers, Raytown, Mo. one sister, Sarabelle Hemmerling, Phoenix, Arizona, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
BURIAL: Allen Cemetery, Gower.
VISITATION: 6:30-8:30 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Donations: Alzheimer?s Unit of the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron.
