Addie E. (Shindler) Loyd

Addie E. Loyd, 84, of Clinton, MO, formerly of Edgerton, MO, passed away, Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

She was born on May 14, 1924 to John Peter and Minnie (Hale) Shindler near Ava, MO where she grew up and attended school.

On June 7, 1944 she was united in marriage to Wallace M. Loyd. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, Clinton, Parkville, Trimble and Wasola, MO. In 1964 they moved to Edgerton, MO, and in 1999 they returned to Clinton, MO where they made their home. Her husband, Wallace, preceded here in death on May 29, 2000.

Addie was a member of the VFW Post #1894 Auxiliary in Clinton, MO.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Dennis Loyd; and one daughter, Deborah Noreen Coble.

She is survived by three daughters, Laivanna Loyd, Clinton, MO, Diana Ivy and Delicia Ivy, both of Warsaw, MO, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one sister Allie Hill who lives in Florida, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 13^th at the Antioch Cemetery, Holt, MO.
