ADA LEE STEPHENS

Ada Lee Stephens, 79, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Friday, September 8, 2006 at her home near Smithville.

She was born on October 12, 1926 to Fred M. and Emma Roberta (Cypert) McHughes in Scott, Arkansas.

On March 2, 1947 she was united in marriage to James Clarence Stephens. In 1950 they moved to the Kansas City area and in 1953 they moved near Smithville where they made their home. Her husband passed away on July 14, 1996.

She is survived by four sons, Harold Stephens and wife, Dorothy, Smithville, MO, Vance Stephens, Independence, MO, Russell Stephens and wife, Debby, Springfield, MA, Mark Stephens, Smithville, MO; one daughter, Millie Stephens, Leavenworth, KS; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Private Family Inurnment at Smith Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the home near Smithville anytime this weekend.
