ABIGAIL E. HARTLEY

Abigail Elizabeth Hartley, 17, of Gower, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006.

She was born on March 5, 1989 in Independence, MO to James Stafford Hartley and Catherine Anne Hartley. Abbie was a senior at East Buchanan High School where she had participated in Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, FFA, FCCLA, the Young Republicans, and Cadet. Abbie was very active in volunteer work in the community.
She was also taking classes at Barbizon Modeling where she loved to “walk the runway”.

Abbie was a member of the Gower Christian Church where she helped with Vacation Bible School.

She is survived by her father, Jim and Dorita “Annie” Hartley of the home, mother, Catherine Hartley and Michael McMillin, Trimble, MO, brothers and sisters, Jeremiah, Kirby, Sarah, and Emily, grandparents, James T. and Jean Hartley, Independence, MO, Norman and Bernice Steffen, Independence, MO and Billy and Ethelda Owens, Stewartsville, MO, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9th at the Gower Christian Church
Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower
Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
